2009 SYSA/USSSA spring
coach pitch SPRING baseball league
games will be played at the cane ridge park at the youth fields.
games will be played on tuesday and thursday. also monday nights if needed.
all teams will play 14 games (hour and 15 min time limits)
teams will have have input in their schedule
all games will be played by sysa/usssa rules
all games will have 2 umpires
after the 14 game schedule is completed there will be a end of the year tournament at no cost to the teams. the tournament will crown the league champions.
the league champions will earn a paid berth to the 2009 usssa sub state tournament.
the league will offer a 7u age bracket and a 8u age bracket
if there are 8 or more teams in each age group, the brackets will be split into divisions for the end of the season tournament. the top teams will play for the aaa championship and the rest of the teams will play for the aa championship.
the league will start in april and end at the end of may of 2009.
league cost is $800.00 per team. ($80.00 or less per player)
this includes, team insurance, usssa team sanction fee,
umpires cost per game.
TEAMS WILL RECEIVE USSSA POINTS FOR COMPETING IN THIS LEAGUE
this will be a great way to give your team an experience in playing coach pitch baseball in a higher level of competition.
the cost is cheaper then most rec leagues in the metro area.
We will start signing up teams jan 10th through Feb 19th.
Feb 19th we will have a managers meeting. Time and place will be set later.
each team must have a coach, or manager at the meeting and please no more then two at the meeting.
At this meeting we will set practice times, game schedules and talk about any league rules.
When a team signs up they must pay 50% of their league fee when they sign up. The rest of the fees will be due on April 1st.
(we want to try and help not having to pay for it all at once. We understand how sponsorships work.)
